So ready for Spring!! The birds are chirping and the sun is shining and the first day of Spring is tomorrow and………….WE ARE GETTING SNOW!!! What? So I’m going to protest with the Spring-iest (not a word) jewelry I can find.
First up is this amazing Vintage Stanley Hagler Necklace and Earring Demi Parure. That man could take seed beads and gorgeous ornate brass stampings and make the most AMAZING jewelry designs. Hagler is one of my all time favorite jewelry designers as I have such a huge admiration for all of his work.
Sorry for the pint size photo as I tried to make it bigger but it is still puny

Numero dos, cue this drop dead gorgeous Snake Trilogy Ring by Wallace Chan. The snakes look as if they are literally slithering up from the ring! Jeweled snakes… I would openly embrace snakes made of jewels and if I ever saw one slithering through my yard I wouldn’t run, I’d snatch that baby up and never tell a soul:)!!!
Wallace Chan “Snake Trilogy” ring featuring fancy pink and yellow diamonds, an emerald in an unusually-shaped coloured titanium setting.
Third and final piece for today sums up exactly what lots of us Northeasterners are feeling like….caged birds. I give you The Birds Cage Clock by Chanel showcased at Biennale of Antiquaires. Yes, I know, technically this is not a piece of jewelry but who cares? This is a jeweled masterpiece!!!

An exquisite piece of art – in white gold, adorned with rose quartz, diamonds weighing over 61 carats, grey and white pearls – an ode to the captive beauty, romance and femininity.
A more detailed close-up view….
On that note hopefully we will have just a pretty dusting of snow and it won’t last too long because I really love the beginning of Spring!!!
