Art Deco Sterling Blue Sapphire Lavalier necklace, circa 1920’s

A very quitenssential Art Nouveau – Art Deco era piece, is the lavalier necklace, known for it’s long thin dainty chain and gorgeous single stone pendants. This one is adorned with sparkling crystals and the sterling silver chain has a gorgeous aged patina that only comes with being almost 100 years old and in perfect condition. Dangling from the chain is a blue sapphire stone. You can tell by looking at the necklace that it has experienced a very full life over the past century and still has a lot of life yet to be lived and many many more stories to be told!
