In many of Schreiner’s pieces he set his stones purposely on the wrong side.  This gave his pieces not only a unique look but when playing jewelry detective to figure out when an unsigned piece was made or by whom gives the “jewelry detective” aka me, a clue.  Schreiner did several different color combos of this brooch which can be found in the recently published book Schreiner by Carole Tanenbaum and Eve Townsend…..just sayin’
